EXPERIENCE
WILDERNESS TOURS
Wilderness Tours in the Ottawa Valley was where I spent my summer between first and second year ODA. Working on a world class river with such knowledgeable senior guides was an incredible experience. I faced some of my biggest fears and learned more than I ever thought possible. Beyond grateful for my time at WT.

OTTAWA RIVER RAFT GUIDE
My main job at Wilderness Tours was guiding rafts down the Rochre Fendu section of the Ottawa River. I guided the two sections of the river through various water levels. I guided Family Trips in 6 man rafts down the Middle Channel as well as both 6 & 12 man rafts down the Main Channel for WTs High Adventure and Flip Trips.
ACTIVITIES
On top of being a guide at Wilderness Tours, I worked as a member of the activities department. From driving boat shuttles around the resort, to maintaining &Â operating the climbing wall, to organizing karaoke nights, being on the activities crew meant my job was to create a fun time for guests when they were not on the river.

YOGA
I've been teaching yoga weekly ever since I obtained my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training from Yogatown in 2016. Having this skill allowed me to have the unique opportunity of creating and running a yoga program for Wilderness Tours. I organized, advertised for, and taught classes to rafting clients by the water at sunset as well as morning classes for the kayakers. On days off I'd lead stretches for the rest of the river staff to help them keep their bodies working to the best of their ability.
