RAFT EXPEDITION
Our First Taste
The first expedition of the program took place after our paddle guide course and brought us to the Jacques Cartier, Rouge, and Gatineau Rivers, where we tested our ability to read water and guide on different styles of river.
WINTER EXPEDITION
Exceptional Achievement
3 day, 2 night snowshoe expedition through Algonquin Park to work on our winter camping and navigation skills
SEA KAYAK EXPEDITION
Georgian Bay
9 day sea kayak trip on the Georgian Bay from Killarney to Brit. Working on navigation, camping and kayak skills. Resulted in paddle canada certifications at the end.
WHITEWATER MULITDAY
Perfect Execution
5 day whitewater rafting trip on the Petawawa river using oar rigs
FINAL EXPEDITION
A Real Success
The final project from ODA is to create and go on your very own expedition with your classmates. My group choose to go on the Owyhee river in Idaho for a multiday rafting trip
